This policy explains in simple terms what cookies are, how we use them on Veltrixqn and how you can control them thanks to the consent banner and the Google Consent Mode v2 standard we have implemented in 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember preferences, measure site usage or show more relevant content. There are first-party cookies (used by us) and third-party cookies (used by services such as analytics or advertising).
2. Categories we use
We classify cookies into four categories: Necessary, Functional, Analytics and Advertising. Necessary cookies are always active; the rest are only enabled if you accept the corresponding category in the banner.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
On this site we implement Google Consent Mode v2. When the page loads, all advertising and analytics consent categories are set to denied by default. Only when you accept a category in the banner do we update consent via gtag('consent', 'update', ...) and notify the dataLayer with the cookie_consent_update event. In addition, we enable ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough to reduce the information transmitted when full consent is not available.
4. Managing your consent
The first time you visit the site, a banner appears with the options Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage. If we clear the storage or you switch device, the banner will reappear.
5. Duration and providers
The duration of each cookie depends on its purpose. Strictly necessary cookies usually expire when the session ends, while analytics and advertising cookies may be kept for periods defined by their providers (for example, Google).
6. Change your preferences
You can change your decision at any time by clicking the 'Manage preferences' link in the site's footer or by clearing your browser's local storage.
